Brief Tasting Notes
Maturing a lightly peated Orkney malt for over three decades in a first-fill Oloroso sherry butt results in a remarkably dense profile where old, elegant wood notes interlace beautifully with rich dark fruits.

  • Nose: Old wooden cabinet, old leather couch, walnuts, hazelnuts, spices, cloves, little earthy. Hint of rum soaked cherries, whiff of smoke
  • Palate: Highly concentrated and rich. Silky, luscious on the palate, it unfurls with bright notes of pomegranate and cranberry beneath a soft veil of peat smoke, enriched by sherry-cask sweetness with dark chocolate and holiday spices ground the mid-palate
  • Finish: Impeccably long and warming. It fades slowly with notes of dry leather, winter baking spices, dried forest berries, and a lingering trace of heather peat smoke
