Brief Tasting Notes
Glengoyne prides itself on being Scotland’s slowest distillation, utilizing unpeated barley dried purely by warm air. This unhurried process produces an exceptionally sweet, clean fruit distillate that interacts brilliantly with long-term sherry maturation.

• Nose: Rich sherry notes on the nose, with vanilla, sultanas, raisins, cherry blossom, and a hint of new leather, further layered with rich notes of dark chocolate brownies, plum compote, and marmalade
• Palate: Smooth and very sweet orchard fruits on the palate, with cherry liqueur turning to black tea and fennel, covering the tongue with a dense texture bursting with cinnamon cloves, old oak wood spices, and walnut oil
• Finish: Drying very slowly in the lingering finish, with spicy oak. It signs off with a beautiful, dry, and elegant combination of bitter orange marmalade and rich cocoa powder
