It is named after the iconic 19th-century New Orleans property owner who originally popularized the famous Sazerac cocktail.

Brief Tasting Notes
While some BTAC stablemates rely on decades of sitting in wood, Thomas H. Handy is the youngest member of the collection, famously prized for bringing a wild, vibrantly loud, and oily punch of raw rye character.

• Nose: Notes of orange zest and lemon oil along with caramel and hints of pine. It develops further complex undertones of marshmallow fluff, vanilla praline, and warm baking spices
• Palate: Chewy, syrupy, and exceptionally bold. Freshly baked rye bread spread with orange marmalade and honey, balanced beautifully by zestier, sharper layers of white grape, plum, and raspberry fruit notes
• Finish: Lingering finish of light oak and black licorice, rounds out slowly with a fiery trail of cracked black pepper and dark cinnamon wood spice
